Oriana Shulevitz Rosado

Oriana Shulevitz Rosado was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Soon after graduating Brown University and at the start of the Trump administration, Oriana went to work at the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) and became part of the fight for immigrant rights. At the NYIC, she ran immigrant resource fairs across the five boroughs directed to NYC’s undocumented immigrant communities. While always centering the fight for immigrant rights, her passion for social justice and transformative systemic change led her to work in local government at both the city and state level. Most recently, in her prior role as the Director of Constituent Services for Queens’ Council Member Tiffany Cabán, Oriana worked in coalition with community based organizations and coordinated rapid response efforts in response to several on-going city-wide emergencies.
