Susanna Saul

As Director of the Immigration Practice at Her Justice, Susanna manages a team of four attorneys, three legal assistants and one Department of Justice (DOJ) partially-accredited representative. The immigration practice focuses on survivor-based immigration relief, including U/T Nonimmigrant Status, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Self-Petitions and Battered Spouse Waivers. Susanna trains and mentors pro bono attorneys providing free legal representation to undocumented women who are survivors of gender-based violence seeking to stabilize their immigration status in the U.S.

Prior to joining Her Justice, Susanna worked as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC- Staten Island. She graduated with a B.A. in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College and obtained her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law in 2004. She is admitted to the New York State Bar, the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Susanna is an alumna of the Coro Institute’s 2017 Immigrant Civic Leadership Program (ICLP). She speaks Spanish and French.
